The Meizu Note 8 is a better alternative to the Meizu X8 smartphone. The phone is more affordable than the later and it packs an awesome body design and enough inbuilt memory. It has a dual rear camera, a portable screen size and a bigger battery on the inside.

The Meizu Note 8 is built with metal that is available in four colors variant. The phone has a standard 6.0 notch-free screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1,080 x 2,160px resolution. The screen should be able to deliver 450 nits of brightness and 1,500:1 contrast ratio. The Meizu Note 8 has dual rear cameras on the back that consist of a 12+5MP shooter.

The main camera features Sony IMX362 with large 1.4µm pixels and Dual Pixel AF. It has a bright f/1.9 aperture and is paired with a 5MP depth sensor. Shipping to the front, you will get a single front snapper of 8MP (f/2.0) with Face recognition support which is an added security feature because it’s also equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Under the hood, the Meizu Note 8 is blessed with a Snapdragon 632 that provides an octa-core Kryo processor with four Cortex-A73 based cores and four A53 ones, plus an Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset has a backup of 4GB RAM with internal memory of 64GB.

The phone runs on Flyme OS based on Android Oreo. The Meizu Note 8 has a nonremovable battery capacity of 3,600mAhwith 18W fast charging (mCharge) that uses a micro USB port. You will also get a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
